We invite children of Russian-Ukrainian war veterans in Kyiv to participate in painting the walls of the exhibition hall Second Floor Art Center

Ukrainian Crisis Media Center with the support of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, has held the International Drawing Contest: "Where I am my flag is", attended by 86 children from 23 countries.
The task for the young artists was to portray the most recognizable and beloved landscapes of the countries where they live.
The winner has become Melissa Dovgii, 13 year old from Brazil. She received the Grand Prix - the trip to Kyiv for the exhibition opening.
There were selected 16 best works that form the exhibition project. They will be presented as huge posters 3 * 4 meters in size.
The exhibition will be held in the exposition hall of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine - Second Floor Art Center secondfloor.gallery, which is the mouthpiece for the Art of Ukraine to speak to the world.
The walls will be decorated with the painting that kids will create themselves. The theme of the painting: "My Happiness" dedicated to Ukraine, all the best, nicest, happiest, associated with the child's home country (it can be landscapes, decorative drawings, symbols, slogans, titles, etc.); it may also display the events of modern history of Ukraine.
The organizers invite the children aged 8-16 to participate in the painting. Therefore, in order to join you need:
  1. Contact the curator of the project by the numbers blow, and declare your intent to participate.
  2. Consult with the curator about the idea, make a first sketch of the future painting.
  3. The best ideas will be selected and their authors will be able to put forward their ideas as part of the design of the exhibition.
The technical stage, the painting itself, will be held from 28 March to 4 April directly in the Persidential Administration.

4. All participants of this event will be invited to the grand opening on April 6 to the Administration and will receive thanks from the organizers of the competition.

Liubov, wife of deceased Ukraine Army soldier Olexandr Susloparov thanks unknown charity giver for help

Recently a man the "hot line" of the Ukrainian public charuty Platform People Help The People who wished to remain anonymous, and was willing to transfer some financial aids to one of the families who needed assistance the most.

Thus, the of clearing account platform received 1000 UAH. By the decision of the Coordination Council the som was passed to the card account of the family of Olexandr Susloparov, a Ukrainian soldier fallen in Russia-Ukraine war. After his heroic death, witout husband and father remained his wife Liubov and four children: 14-year-old Mark, 13-year-old Leo, 9-year-old Veronika and 1.5-year-old Matthew, who was born after the death of his dad.


"Olexandr always wanted to help those in need. Make something important, do good to the people. He voluteered to the war because he wanted to protect our children and our country. Thank you all and to the people who help our family, because to raise four children on my own is very hard", says Liubov Susloparova.
