He was an auto repair technician, fanatically loved cars; he was busy in the garage for hours, eliminating the problem. When the war started in Donbass he decided to go to the war as a volunteer, despite the entreaties of relatives. "Who, if not me?" - Serhiy argued. Although it was very difficult for him to part with his wife, young son and parents, but the desire to defend the country was stronger. After training he was in Donetsk, Snizhne, and then they were moved to Zelenopillia. In the dawn of July 11 his 79th crew was destroyed by “Grads”. Serhiy rushed to his "Ural" to move the truck loaded with ammunition, but it was too late. He was buried on the Walk of Fame in his hometown.
