Help fallen Ukraine Army soldier family

Wife of a fallen Elina and two children (15 and 9 y.o.)

Elina recalls the dramatic details of the life and death of her husband: "Slava had two dreams. He wanted a house, a rocking chair and a desk, at which he would write a book, and I'd be there to coddle his legs in a blanket. But the warrior in him wanted the other. Once he confessed: I want to die in battle, heroically and quickly. For example, injured by a grenade. Can you imagine?!
Slava - a hereditary military, his handbook was the samurai code "Bushido". He was torn by contradictions: he wanted this and that, incompatible with each other. He volunteered as an instructor, and then he went into battle.

FAMILY

The wife of Colonel Halva remained alone with two children.
A few years Vyacheslav Elina lived in a rented apartment on Troyeschina, an area at the outskirts of Kyiv. Vyacheslav waited in line to get his own apartment, which was prescribed to him during the service in the Directorate of Intelligence of the General Staff of the Defence Ministry.

Russia-Ukraine Conflict Participant

Halva Vyacheslav Anatoliyovych

МВС
Kyiv
Patrol battalion of special police "Azov"
41 y.o.
04.01.1973 – 26.08.2014
died in Novoazovsk district, Donetsk region
Hereditary military, Vyacheslav began his career as an officer after graduating in 1994 Kyiv Higher Military Command School.
He also served as the commander of the reconnaissance group of Special Forces.
In 2000-2001, he served in the Republic of Sierra Leone in the UN peacekeeping forces. Three years later, once again became a part of the peacekeeping contingent in that country.
Based on the knowledge of his life he developed his own technique of four-day intensive training. According to the soldiers of the battalion "Azov", in four days they got from Halva more knowledge and skills than in all previous years of training with other instructors. Many people say we owe him our life.
Describing his personal fighting skills, it is difficult to find something he could not: a scout, a sapper, a diver, a sniper, a paratrooper, a specialist in melee combat, tactical and fire training, military medicine and survival.
Since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the military officer went to the Donetsk region, where he was among the first to defend the city of Mariupol. A retired colonel, he joined the volunteer battalion in the rank of private. He was killed near Novoazovsk during a combat mission.
Colleagues remember him as a true professional and reliable companion. He was an example for others, and in a few days could teach a soldier what is taught for many years. Vyacheslav was an instructor who not only taught, but he went into battle.
The hero was buried in Kyiv on Berkovets cemetery.
