Help the family of fallen Ukraine Army soldier Viktor Makidon: wife Oksana, son Mykhailo

It was love at first sight. She was 16 and he was 24 when they married. And it seemed, they were the happiest. They moved to the capital, as Viktor was transferred to serve in the Kyiv police. The young couple lived paycheck to paycheck in a dormitory. Then they had a son Mykhailo, and their joy knew no bounds. Viktor wanted to have a son so much. The boy was the meaning of their life. The life was hard, there was never enough money, but they all stood together.
Having served in the police 23 years, Viktor retired. And when Russian troops invaded the Eastern Ukraine and the war broke out, he returned to the Ranks of Ukraine Armed forces and joined the battalion "Peacemaker". July 11, 2014, the battalion was sent to Slovyansk, east Ukraine. And on July 22, 2014, he died.

Their pride - the only son entered the Kyiv Ivan Bohun Lyceum. He decided to be a militaryman, like his father. - Viktor will be proud of our son, because he has brought up a real man, says Oksana.
