FAMILY

Roman and Iryna got acquainted and got married in Luhansk, Eastern Ukraine, where they lived together after their wedding. They had three wonderful daughters - Anna, Maria, and Amalia. The happy family could not even think that the war would their take house, and then their father.

Roman Bocharov was a believer. A parishioner of a Protestant Church. Always was trying to do everything "the right way". Always dreamed of becoming a soldier.

During the Maidan, they became activists in Luhansk. Later, at the beginning of the Russian aggression in Ukraine, the family helped the protectors of Luhansk airport. And when the active military operations began in Donbass, Roman could not stand it anymore. He could not stay at home because he knew that the war was knocking on the door of his home. Therefore, in April 2014, he volunteered in the battalion of "Dnipro-1", where "Santa" was the commander of the 2nd platoon of the 5th Battalion Company.

Knowing that Roman l was "The Punisher" in the "Dnipro-1", in May 2014, Russia-supported militants destroyed and looted the Bocharovs' house, for their active pro-Ukrainian position.

Roman happened to be in the hottest points on the Russia-Ukraine conflict map, together with his brothers-in-arms he took part in the liberation of the village of Pisky near Donetsk, east Ukraine and took part in battles in the Donetsk Airport.

After his discharge from the service in the regiment "Dnipro-1", "Santa" with his group started the service in the 3rd separate Special Forces Regiment (Kyrovohrad), where he had served honorably in the beginning of 2016.

"Santa" was a real battle commander. He was appreciated and respected by all who had the honour to serve with him or was personally acquainted.

A real man, a real father, a true officer, a true patriot.

He died on the New Year's day, January 1, 2016, in the east Ukraine conflict zone. The circumstances of his death are not disclosed, because until now the investigation is continuing.

His wife Iryna has to bring up the Daddy's pride - three Roman's daughters. The eldest daughter is studying at  Bogomolets Medical Institute, the middle on - at school, and the youngest attends kindergarten.

The family do not have their own home. It was destroyed in the occupied Luhansk. And the education of three girls requires a lot of money, in addition, there is a need for funds to rent.

These four beautiful girls of "Santa" - his wife and three daughters,  need our help.

He was killed, but he will live forever in the eyes of his children and the hearts of those who remember him. Let's help the Bocharovs' family, give them at least a small part of our warmth. Let's the pay tribute and respect to Roman.
