"We are missing our Sviatoslav. Now all have first. And the pain of loss still did not subside"
"Kind eyes, sincere smile and great sense of humour. And yet, he loved children and always worried so much about us to be fine", is the first thing that Hanna Vdovych mentions about her husband Ukrainian Soldier, Aydar battalion volunteer, diseased in the Donbas, east Ukraine - the area of Russian-Ukrainian war Sviatoslav Vdovych.
Her would-be husband, a would-be Russian-Ukrainian war veteran, the woman met as a young girl. Then, they worked at the same firm. Every day they were talking. It turned out that both had a lot in common, soon they started dating and after two years started living together and then got married.
After having their first child Alex, Hanna was raising the boy, and Sviatoslav worked for their living, was involved in auto business. Then the couple enjoyed the appearance of Illya. "Sviatoslav was so glad that now he had two sons. He liked to play with them, taught men's things", says the wife of the fallen Ukrainian soldier.
In the Vdovych’s family there happened both happy and sad times. Sviatoslav’s mother was very ill last years of her life: gangrene and foot amputation. So the woe united them all. And the family became even stronger.
Soon the couple celebrated the appearence of a third child - a son Fedir. "Later, when Fedir grew a little older, my husband invented this tradition: for holidays he bought each of the sons a bunch of flowers, and they all welcomed me. It was so touching", recalls Hanna.
When the war began in the Donbas, east Ukraine Sviatoslav Vdovych was one of the first to start to the East to defend the country from Russian proxies and Russia-backed separatists in the ranks of Aydar Battalion. Although he returned alive from the Russian-Ukrainian war, the man could not stand the test of new peacetime, and left this world.
"We were together in the countryside. Our friend passed the tragic news us", says Hanna.
Now Hanna Vdovych lives together with three children: 12-year-old Alex, 10-year-old Illya and 5-year-old Fedir; they learn to live without their beloved husband and father. They have to start all over again. The children need clothes and shoes, sports equipment, and all the rest the children need. Let's help the family of the fallen Russian-Ukrainian war veteran, defender of Ukraine!
